INCLEMENT WEATHER NOTICE:
For the safety of our community, Masjid Al-Islam will be closed for congregational prayers and classes starting Friday night at Maghrib, 1/23, and will reopen on Tuesday, 1/27, at Fajr. This decision is due to inclement weather and hazardous road conditions.

Daily after Fajr: Revolutionary Discipline Training led by Imam Muhammad Abdullah. A focused 30-minute session to memorize Juz ‘Amma and Imam Nawawi’s 40 Hadith. Real change starts with disciplined mornings.

Sunday, Jan 25th, 10 AM - 1:30 pm - Masjid Al-Islam’s Educational Children’s Creative Academy (M.E.C.C.A.) classes have begun. Classes are every Sunday. Only $25/month per child, ages 5-17. Email imam@masjidalislam.org for information.
Volunteers are needed from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

Our Beacon of Light Community Outreach program has assisted more than 26,000 persons every year. Our Day of Dignity event helps the most under served neighbors in economically challenged areas of South Dallas. it has been recognized by the City of Dallas, and our work has earned numerous awards.
Donate for the new Masjid
While our community is more than sixty years old. our current building and masjid is more than forty years worn. It is outdated and we need your help to build a new one to continue our historic service to the community.
Donate for M.E.C.A School
We created the first ever K-8 Islamic school in Texas. Throughout difficult times we have managed to always keep an Islamic studies Quranic based program for the next generation. Today’s curriculum is developed for the Masjid Al-Islam, Educational Children’s Academy or M.E.C.A.
